NATIONAL N DIPLOMA (HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT)
INTRODUCTION
Human Resources Management deals with formal systems in the management of people within the organisation. The areas relating to attracting, retaining and maintaining an effective work force include: human resources planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal, training and development, reward systems and labour relations.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirement for this programme is
· Grade 12/NSC or N3 Certificate
- A minimum E symbol for English Second Language HG or a minimum D symbol for English Second Language SG is required
The selection & placement of students are based on
- Academic results of the student,
- Cost effectiveness of the programme, and
- Availability of Space
NATIONAL N DIPLOMA
Candidates must comply with the following minimum requirements in order to obtain a National N Diploma:
- N6 Human Resources Management Certificate
- Documentary proof of at least eighteen (18) months applicable experience in commerce and industry
- This should facilitate the practical implementation of any two of the N6 subjects relevant to the candidate’s vocational training.
The National N Diploma is evaluated as an M+3 qualification

CLASS ATTENDANCE
- For a student to be successful in their studies and to gain maximum skills training they need to attend classes regularly
- The ultimate aim is a 100% class attendance
- Evaluation of students will take place on a regular basis
- Semester marks are accumulated through continuous Assessment (tests & practical assignments) and forms an integral part of the final mark after examinations have been written
- External national examinations are written every semester
- The pass requirement is 40% per subject

PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS
In order to proceed to the next level of study, candidates are required to pass 3 of the 4 subjects at that particular level.
PROGRAMME FEES
- A deposit is payable on registration
- The balance must be paid in four (4) equal monthly installments in succession
